Zhan Wang is a Chinese sculptor who has made a name for himself with his artificial rocks covered in chrome. Through the reflection of natural light on their shiny surface, his works transmit a dazzling energy that reflects the artist's industrial reappropriation of mass. In addition to the numerous group exhibitions in which he participated, Wang was the subject of a solo exhibition in 2012: My Personal Universe, supported by the Fondation Louis Vuitton. In 2017, the largest retrospective of his work was organised at the Long Museum in Shanghai.
