1885-88 Small Dragon Issues Covers International 9 candareen Rate plus 6 candareen Registration 1892 (7 Nov.) large envelope registered to Berlin bearing perf.12½ 3ca. mauve and perf.11½ 1ca. green and 5ca. olive-ochre block of four tied by "customs/hankow" type II (four figure datestamp) c.d.s. in red; France 75c. black on yellow applied over the 5ca. and tied by "shang-hai/chine" c.d.s. Alongside are two faint strike of 19.5mm circular "registered/-/No." in purple and French boxed "R" in red. The reverse with Customs Shanghai (10.11), French packet datestamp (12.10) and Berlin arrival (17.12). There are a couple of small imperfections, nevertheless a highly important cover, Small Dragon mail from Hankow is extremely scarce and this Hankow registration mark is not recorded.in any literature. Probably unique. The 5ca. block includes clichés 5 and 2b from setting VIII.
