Das Vorbild für die Lithographie ist das Keramikwandgemälde, das Miró neben vielen weiteren Arbeiten für das «Labyrinth» der Fondation Maeght zu Beginn der 1960er Jahre angefertigt hat.

The lithograph is based on the ceramic wall painting that Miró created among other works for the «Labyrinth» of the Foundation Maeght in the early 1960s.
