British, late 18th-19th century. Thirty-five pieces of sterling flatware and tablewares, including a salt cellar with cobalt glass insert and faded marks (London), eleven salt and mustard spoons with Georgian hallmarks (various cities), one mustard spoon with William IV hallmark (London), four tea caddy spoons with Georgian hallmarks (various cities), three demitasse spoons with Georgian hallmarks (Edinburgh), eleven spoons (eight demitasse, one mustard, two tea caddy) with lion passant hallmarks and illegible maker's marks, and four liquor tags with either Georgian or Victorian hallmarks (various cities); PLUS, one silverplated liquor tag; salt cellar ht. 1.5, dia. 2.5 in., total weighable silver wt. 12.255ozt (381g). Provenance:Property from the Estate of Lewis W. Walker, Jr., Hudson, OH Condition: Liquor tags not included in weight (chains may not be sterling). Cobalt glass insert chipped. Some pieces monogrammed and a few spoon bowls dented.
