1914-15 Star (3-7491 L.Cpl. C. E. Childs. Norf. R.) extremely fine £40-£50 Footnote Charles Edward Childs was born in Frettenham, Norfolk, and attested for the Norfolk Regiment at Norwich. He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 11 March 1915, and was killed in action on 28 June 1917. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.
