Manufactured in October 1969, this 280SL roadster with the desirable manual transmission is finished in Burgundy metallic with matching hardtop, black leather interior and new matching carpets. The car was thoroughly restored in the mid-1990s, benefiting from extensive bodywork renovation, the sills, floorpan and wings all receiving attention. New brakes were fitted in 1997 and the car underwent further (part) restoration and routine full servicing by a certified M-B mechanic in 2002/03 with bills for €13,000. In present ownership since 1999, the car is described as in good condition in every respect, with very good chassis. It is offered with photographic record of its mid-1990s restoration and German TÜV valid until October 2004.
