1973 ROVER P6 3500 COUPE Registration No. PGN 617L Chassis No. 84507731 Engine No. 84019497 Squadron blue with tan leather interior Right hand drive The P5 3-litre six cylinder model joined the traditional P4 'Auntie' Rovers in 1959 and differed from them in size and costruction - it had a partial chassis with semi-monocoque bodywork. In 1967 after the final run of the six-cylinder cars the P5B was announced with the Buick-based V8 Rover engine. The P6 3500 version also used the V8 engine and first appeared in 1968. This example has been in one family ownership since new and comes with all its original handbooks and vitually all the old road tax discs. It also has several of the old MoT test reports. Generally the car seems to be a clean and original example with a few blemishes in the paintwork and chrome as one would expect from a vehicle of this age. This model has the automatic gearbox and a MoT certificate current until 1995.
