Son propriétaire en fit l'acquisition en Italie en 2013, souhaitant engager la voiture en courses historiques. Déjà utilisée en compétition, celle-ci nécessitait une remise à niveau et fut préparée dans ce but. C'est l'équipe de Classic et Modern Racing à Alès, atelier particulièrement réputé dans la discipline, qui s'est chargé de la préparation réalisée sans considération de coûts. La liste des travaux est importante et son détail est à consulter au dossier. Soulignons que la caisse fut démontée, sablée, puis repeinte, que le moteur a été entièrement restauré et préparé, enfin que la boite d'origine a été remplacée par une avantageuse boite de M3. Elle est aussi équipée de deux sièges baquets Sabelt, d'un arceau et d'un tripmaster électronique. Il est précisé que les sièges avant ainsi que la banquette arrière d'origine seront livrés avec la voiture. Son propriétaire a depuis notamment participé au Tour Auto et au Tour de Corse historique éprouvant beaucoup de plaisir à la piloter. Elle dispose de son passeport technique historique obtenu en 2017 et le moteur a été démonté pour être révisé en 2018. Cette 2002 Turbo particulièrement bien préparée est un véhicule performant et rare pour se distinguer dans les meilleures courses historiques. Its owner acquired the car in Italy in 2013, with the aim of entering it in historic races. Having already been used in racing, it required an overhaul and was prepared for this reason. This was carried out regardless of cost by the renowned workshop Classic and Modern Racing in Alès. The list of the work carried out is significant and can be consulted in detail in the car's folder. The body was dismantled, sandblasted, and repainted, the engine was thoroughly overhauled and prepared, and finally the original gearbox was replaced by a one from a M3. It is also equipped with two Sabelt bucket seats, roll bars and an electronic trip master. It is specified that both the original front seats as well as the rear bench will be delivered with the car. Its owner notably took part in the Tour Auto and the historic Tour de Corse, experiencing a great deal of pleasure by driving. It comes with its original technical passport which was obtained in 2017 and the engine was taken apart to be overhauled in 2018.
