Voiture de démonstration, elle n'a jamais quitté le parc de la marque et a bénéficié d'un entretien de grande qualité, comme en témoigne le dossier impressionnant qui l'accompagne. Elle est dans sa teinte d'origine gris anthracite (référence 172G), avec sa sellerie d'origine en velours bleu. Remise en état après un vol et détérioration en 1986, elle bénéficie d'un toit ouvrant, d'un ABS, d'un système de climatisation et d'un autoradio Becker Europa. Le compteur kilométrique affiche un peu plus de 131 600 km. Le compartiment moteur ne présente pas d'anomalie, le moteur étant celui d'origine. L'intérieur est bien préservé malgré un léger affaissement de l'assise arrière gauche. Tableau de bord et console centrale à finition bois sont impeccables. Cette voiture sera livrée avec un important dossier incluant: son carnet d'entretien tamponné, la notice d'utilisation, la facture d'achat neuve, l'ensemble des fiches usine et de prêt et une expertise réalisée en 2015. L'entretien est à jour, la voiture ayant été révisée en 2017 par le constructeur, l'importante facture étant consultable dans le dossier. Avec son V8 de 6,9 litres développant 286 ch, la 450 SEL 6,9 litres une des berlines les plus rapides de son époque, particulièrement appréciée des pilotes automobiles. Produite à 7 380 exemplaires, elle reste encore aujourd'hui une machine exceptionnelle, alliant performances élevées et confort haut de gamme. Used as a demonstration car, it has never left the marque's fleet and has been regularly maintained to a high standard, as recorded in the stunning accompanying file. It is presented in the original colour, anthracite grey (reference 172G), with the original blue velours upholstery. Following a theft and having suffered some deterioration, the car was restored in 1986 and comes with sunroof, ABS, air-conditioning and a Becker Europa radio. The odometer shows a mileage of just over 131 600 km. It has the original engine and there are no signs of any irregularities in the engine bay. Inside, the left rear seat sags slightly, but otherwise the interior is well preserved. The dashboard and central console are in excellent condition. The car will be delivered with an important folder which will include: the stamped up to date service book, the owner's manual, new bill of sale, manufacturers' records, as well as an inspection report carried out in 2015. The maintainance is up to date, the car was serviced in 2017 by the manufacturer and the important invoice is available in the folder. With its 286 bhp 6.9-litre V8 engine, the 450 SEL was one of the fastest saloons of its day, and very popular with racing drivers. Just 7 380 examples were built and it remains an exceptional machine today, offering high levels of performance and comfort.
