This new model differed significantly from its predecessor and benefitted from a monocoque chassis, independently sprung wheels and disc brakes all round. The model was upgraded with the launch of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II in February 1977 and featured notable changes to the front suspension and the addition of rack and pinion steering. With a production run that continued until 1980 the Silver Shadow enjoyed, to date, the largest production volume of any car from the legendary Crewe manufacturer. This late Silver Shadow II model benefits from headlight wash wipe and is finished in the attractive and striking colour combination of Chestnut over Honey with an original beige leather interior, lovely woodwork, contrasting carpets and over rugs.
