Beschreibung:

The Ferrari 400i is part of an incredible line. What started as the 365 GT4 in 1972 remained in production for 16 years which is without precedent for a Ferrari. The reason, surely, is Pininfarina's exquisite razor-edge four-seat body. From its earliest days Ferrari had made four-seat cars, but mostly in small numbers. The 365 GT4 was its first serious attempt to capture the high-speed luxury segment of the market. From the start, it was a car which combined Ferrari dynamics with comfort, space, and four full seats. It was renamed '400i' when a 340 bhp fuel-injected 4.8-litre V12 engine was fitted. This gave a top speed of approximately 150 mph/ 240 kph with 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds allied to Ferrari handling and braking. The car we offer is finished in silver which is beautifully complimented by blue leather upholstery and matching blue carpets. It was supplied new by Crepaldi of Milan, and now indicates a recorded 71,247km. The bodywork is described as “good” with minor blemishes, and the engine runs well; the interior is original and well preserved, and the desirable manual gearbox, chassis and electrics are all rated as “good”, although the clutch may need attention in the foreseeable future. The original Pioneer radio/ cassette player is fitted and the cabin benefits from attractive wood veneers and well preserved headlining. Registered with the all-important ASI historic car club, this Ferrari comes with Italian registration and wallet containing service book, owners manual, radio manual and factory delivery note. A thoroughbred V12 Ferrari offering superb value for money.
