Superbly restored over a long period, this low-mileage HE is undoubtedly Concours quality.
Second-generation XJ-S with the new, 295bhp, High-Efficiency V12 Supplied new by Barretts of Canterbury in Racing Green Metallic with a County Tan interior Long-term, nut and bolt restoration with an investment (we are told) of over £70,000 The intention was to achieve a Concours standard and genuine OE parts were used throughout The exception was the County Tan interior which was simply too good to change As any Concours entrant will tell you, V12 engine bays are a nightmare but this one is impressive A full photographic record of the strip and rebuild is available to view at the Auction 36,891 miles, four former keepers and the car will have a fresh MOT prior to the sale Absolutely superb and undoubtedly one of the best available in the UK today NB; The Cherished Registration Number illustrated, 12 XJS, does not form part of the sale.
