En 2002, elle a été achetée au premier propriétaire par le pilote automobile Olivier Panis, qui était encore en activité en Formule 1 et dont le plus beau fait d'arme sera une victoire au Grand Prix de Monaco 1996. Le propriétaire actuel, qui connaissait le pilote et savait le soin qu'il apportait à l'entretien de ses voitures, a rachetée ce Speedster Turbo-Look qui, aujourd'hui, n'affiche que 33 000 km d'origine. Depuis 2002, cette voiture a été entretenue chez International Motor, à Orléans, puis dans la région lyonnaise. Exempte de toute trace d'accident, elle est encore revêtue de sa peinture grise d'origine, ce qui est plutôt rare. Elle est accompagnée de son carnet d'entretien, des factures d'entretien et d'une copie de l'ancienne carte grise au nom d'Olivier Panis. Rappelons que le Speedster 911 est la version ultime de la Carrera 3.2, puisqu'il n'a été produit qu'en 1989, avant le lancement en 1990 de la troisième génération de la fameuse Porsche à moteur arrière. Il présente une personnalité affirmée, avec un pare-brise bas et une capote plus légère, sans doublure, qui disparaît sous un carénage à double bossage. La version Turbo-Look, comme celle que nous présentons, reprend les ailes larges et une partie des suspensions de la 911 Turbo. Le Speedster a fait l'objet d'une production volontairement limitée à un peu plus de 2 000 exemplaires, et il est donc particulièrement rare et exclusif, surtout dans l'état exceptionnel de celui que nous présentons. Let's remind ourselves that the Speedster 911 is the ultimate version of the Carrera 3.2, as it was only produced in 1989, just before the launch of the third generation of the famous rear-engine Porsche in 1990. It has unique characteristics, with a low windscreen and a lighter hood, with no linings, which disappears under the double boss fairings. The Turbo-Look model, like the one we are offering here, recaptures the large wings and a part of the suspensions used on the 911 Turbo.
