Offered for sale is a 2.780L 1995 MASERATI GHIBLI II automatic that has been with the current owner for the last 6 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 101 / 135.
Classic Car Auctions says: The Ghibli was launched at the 62nd Turin Motor Show in April 1992 and they were powered by updated 24-valve Biturbo engines, a 2.0-litre V6 coupled to a six-speed manual transmission for the Italian market, and a 2.8-litre V6 for export. Fitted, at first, with a 5-speed manual, then a 6-speed from 1995, and a 4-speed automatic was optional. These coupés were built for luxury as well as performance, and the superb interior featured Connolly leather and Burr Elm trim. At the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, Maserati launched an updated Ghibli with a refreshed interior, new wing mirrors, redesigned 17" alloy wheels, fully adjustable electronic suspension and ABS brakes. This particular car is presented in Rosso Red with a gorgeous Cream Leather interior. It has had one UK owner since being imported from Japan and one owner abroad. During his six years of ownership, our vendor has maintained the car regardless of cost and it has been serviced annually including a new cambelt and tensioners in 2014. This car is literally on the button and as the owner says, is a thrill to drive. An Italian supercar on a Ford budget.
