Offered for sale is a 3.2L 1998 BMW E36 M3 EVO Convertible manual that has been with the current owner for the last 4 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 107 / 135.
Classic Car Auctions says: A very fresh late model E36 M3 convertible. The E36 M3 debuted in February 1992 and was the first M3 powered by a straight-6 engine. BMW introduced E36 M3 convertible in 1994. In September and November 1995, the M3 coupe and saloon, respectively, were upgraded to the 316 bhp 3.2 litre S50B32 engine. At the same time, the cars received clear indicator lenses, new wheels and a 6-speed gearbox. The convertible did not receive these changes until February 1996. The E36 M3 convertible ceased production in December 1999. The E36 chassis M3 was touted as one of the best handling cars of the 1990s in independent reviews. This 1998 example has covered only 86,000 miles with the vendor telling us it drives superbly. As a collector of many cars, he states this is a relunctant sale due to an impending house move and lack of storage. The car comes with a factory hard-top and has a wind deflector fitted. MOT'd until 1st May 2016 with no advisories.
