It is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, V8 powered coupé and Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilised a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite what looked like, on paper, as modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena followed later by the 360 Spider and finally, as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale. There were 8,800 Modena's and 7,565 Spiders produced of which, in the UK, only 352 were manual gearbox Modena’s and 478 manual Spiders. This is one of the 352, six-speed manual, Ferrari 360 Modena UK right hand drive cars. Delivered by Maranello Concessionaires in July 2000, it was supplied with sport exhaust, rear challenge grille, yellow brake calipers and Scuderia shields on the wings. Finished in Rosso Corsa with contrasting tan leather interior with Bordeaux carpets, this very good Ferrari 360 Modena is supplied with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in September 2022, the leather wallet with original service and handbooks, toolkit and a good history file. This is a very attractive motorcar and, what could be considered, one of the ultimate driving Ferraris. Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead.
