Good (2.0). Would be VG/Fine but for taped spine and color-touch to spine. Off-white pages with tanning edges. Both pairs of glasses still bound in. Feldstein cover. Art by Davis, Elder, Craig, Orlando. 2nd 3-D EC mag, following Three Dimensional EC Classics . EC is fortunate that its brief, unsuccessful foray into 3-D didn't cripple the company economically, as the mags were costly to produce and sales were poor. "[3-D] was the kiss of death... 3-D destroyed companies. The company that put out Mighty Mouse went bankrupt after that, because 3-D was a one-shot type thing. People read one and that was it. They didn't want to buy the next one because it was a gimmick." -Mike Esposito, quoted in Craig Yoe's Amazing 3-D Comics! [Yoe Books/IDW: 2011]. PBA Grading Guarantee: Any individual comic book lot (not group lots) graded by PBA is guaranteed to match CGC grading. If the buyer chooses to have the comic CGC certified and that certification is lower than PBA’s, the lot may be returned for a full refund of the sales price (hammer price plus buyer’s premium). See terms and conditions for details. Consignments Accepted for PBA's Next Comic Book Auction. Golden Age, Silver Age, Pre-Code, Original Art, Interesting Ephemera Sought. Contact [email protected] for details. March 26th Comic Book Sale catalogues available. Supplies Limited. Softcover catalogues limited to 200 copies ($45 + $5 postage/handling). Hardcovers limited to 26 lettered copies, dust jackets, special limitation plates ($150). Contact [email protected]
