A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK LIGHT DRAGOON SERVICE PISTOL DUBLIN CASTLE, EARLY 19TH CENTURY With bright barrel, tang and flat bevelled lock, the latter border engraved and with 'GR' cypher and marked 'DUBLIN CASTLE' on the tail, walnut three-quarter stock, brass mounts including trigger-guard marked '18 LD H 55', and iron stirrup ramrod (iron parts cleaned bright with some pitting, stirrup ramrod probably a post-1807 working modification), worn Ordnance proof marks 9in. (22.8cm.) barrel
