A 16-Bore Flintlock Sporting Gun, An 11-Bore French Flintlock Carbine, And A 22-Bore Percussion Carbine Of Service Type The first 18th Century, the second dated 1822, the third No. 1698, dated 1863 The first with three-stage sighted barrel, grooved tang, engraved flat bevelled lock, figured walnut half-stock (some defects) carved with a shell in relief behind the barrel tang, engraved brass mounts (side-plate later), brass fore-end cap, and later brass-tipped ramrod with worm (iron parts lacquered, some pitting); the second with shortened sighted barrel (muzzle damaged), dated tang, regulation lock with traces of arsenal marking, walnut three-quarter stock (minor defects), regulation iron mounts, iron sling mount, and iron ramrod (some wear and pitting); the third with shortened (?) rifled sighted barrel (back-sight removed), dated lock stamped 'ZY Compa', walnut three-quarter stock (old worm holes) also dated and marked en suite, iron mounts, iron sling swivels, and original iron ramrod (some pitting) 27in.
