A 1914 CASUALTIES PLAQUE TO THE GORDON HIGHLANDERS A Memorial Plaque named to Charles Coghill. Number 8560 serving in the 1st Battalion Gordon Highlanders. He Died of Wounds on the 17th October 1914. He hand landed on the 13th August 1914, CWGC states 'G' not 'C' on their roll. Buried in Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery. Born at Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, enlisted 1900 at Glasgow.
