A blue glazed composition pectoral Third Intermediate Period (1070-712 B.C.) The front face decorated with a solar barque in dark glaze, carrying two goddesses who adore a scarab surmounting a naos or shrine, the reverse with heart scarab for the royal scribe Nebmehyt, being born along in a solar barque, pierced along the top edge for suspension 4 1/8 x 2 7/8in. (10.4 x 7cm.)
