By Mitani Goho, Aki Province, late 18th/early 19th century The frog levering itself out of a partially-rotted branch, its hind legs visible from the opposite end, its body covered with ukibori pimples, signed with ukibori characters on a smooth portion of bark Goho with a kao. 4.2cm (1¾in).
