Circa 1775-1780 The ice pail of cylindrical form standing on a short footed base, with liner and cover, the cover surmounted by a twisted acanthus leaf loop handle, ram head handle terminals adorn each side, painted en grisaille with a sequence of neo-classical urns, surrounded by sprigs of enamelled polychrome flowers, below a variegated washed blue border heightened with a raised gilt anthemion garlands and detailed with a gilt dentil border, together with similarly decorated tablewares to include, four plates 22.5cm diam, an oval serving dish, 24cm long, 18cm wide, and a footed circular serving dish 22cm diam, (some unmarked).
