A CHINESE ARCHAISTIC BRONZE TRIPOD RITUAL VESSEL , DING SONG-MING DYNASTY (960-1644) Supported on three tall feet decorated with taotie masks, the body with a thin archaistic animal band above stylised stiff leaves, the rim with two upright handles 7 1/8 in. (18 cm.) high Provenance The Hermann Rosenfeld Collection, Hamburg, Germany, circa 1930s. Acquired by the current owner from the heirs of Mr. Hermann Rosenfeld.
