Property from an Important Private CollectionA Chinese Export Famille-Rose Silver-Mounted Ewer and Cover and Chamfered Rectangular Basin Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, 1735-40清乾隆 1735-40年 粉彩仕女庭院圖蓋壺連八方大盆 the pear-shaped ewer decorated on the exterior with a scene of two ladies holding floral sprigs, one standing at a pavilion, the other strolling through a fenced garden, all underneath a border painted with blossoms and fruits, the cover and basin similarly decoratedlength of basin 13 1/4 in.; 33.5 cmCondition reportThe ewer in overall good condition with typical firing imperfections including a firing flaw to the interior mouth rim,. The cover with a restored break and associated fill to an approx.3/4 in. of the lip. The basin with two polished chips to the underside to one corner, and the interior with wear to the enamels. Please note, the silver mount was not removed for inspection. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
