A Chinese iron temple gong, Ming Dynasty the large and heavy bowl cast in sections and moulded with Chinese characters, the base pierced with four circles, with a later wood stand of tall rectangular form, carved with dragon heads -- the bowl 14 1/8in. (36cm.) diam., 12¾in. (32.4cm.) high, the stand 41 3/8in. (105cm.) high.
