A CHINESE RUG IN PERSIAN QUM STYLE Part silk Approximately 150 x 222cm Condition Report: There is some subtle fading to one end, in particular to one corner. The pale blue plain outer border has some pale marks and stains. There are some depressions where something has been placed on the rug. There is a c10cm long tear from the end of one rug, which has been repaired (see photos with ballpoint pen indicating the area). This repair indicates that the pale blue, red and yellow ends and the fringing is later than the original manufacture of the rug. The back with a handwritten fabric label stapled to the rug. The back with small 'teeth' marks along each end. The back with some visible thread ends and to one corner of the front of the rug. All that said, many of these comments on condition are only apparent on close inspection. Please see additional photographs as a visual reference of condition. Condition Report Disclaimer
