A Chinese spinach jade lotus censer and cover, Late 18th Century with twin handles in the form of double lotus pods joined by a long scrolling ribbon, the body of the vase carved as a large lotus flower, the petals carved in relief with shou characters and swastika symbols of good fortune, the base modelled as a large lotus pod, the cover carved with flower and pod finial above a band of the Eight Buddhistic Emblems, wood stand -- 5¼in. (13.3cm.) high.
