A Chodau surface-marbled stoneware two-handled vase the ovoid body with two brown relief-moulded oval panels after the Antique, one with a bull fighting scene, the other with combat between a centaur and a horseman, reserved on a brown marbled ground, gilt-line rims, impressed 'P&S', circa 1840 (wear to gilding) -- 32.5cm. high See Colour Plate 2
