A COLLECTION OF ARAB SILVER MOSTLY OMAN, ARABIC PENINSULA AND INDIA, 19TH/20TH CENTURY Including an Omani silver and horn-hilted khanjar , possibly from Nizwa, the rich decoration with silver repoussé foliated scrolls and stems and silver thread geometric patterns, with embroidered belt; two Maria Theresa Thaler necklaces; a Qur'an box ( hirz ); five large silver bangles, including two possibly from Nizwa with geometric and scrolling decoration and each closing with a large silver pin; twenty-one bracelets, including two with a band of spike-like protruding patterns between two bands of geometric designs; a Kashmiri rosewater sprinkler, with bulbous body rising to a tapering neck and flaring mouth, the engraved decoration with dense floral sprays and foliate scrolls The khanjar 11 5/8in.
