After the War he was advanced Chaplain to the Forces 2nd Class, whilst based in Malta, and was appointed Assistant Chaplain General, Northern Command, with the rank of Chaplain to the Forces 1st Class, on 12 December 1925. He was appointed Honorary Chaplain to H.M. the King on 13 May 1932.
