The butterfly brooch with some small cracks in the enamel where the wings meet the body and one chip to the enamel at the bottom edge of the right wing; the brooch is stamped ‘930S’ and bears maker’s mark; brooch width 60.5mm. The third brooch modelled as a wire-haired terrier (Airedale or similar), showing some wear; reverse stamped ‘A.J.H.STERLING’; brooch width 22.5mm. The powder compact of round form, with mirror to inside lid, on suspensory loop; showing some wear and small dents all over; hallmarked for Birmingham, 1911, and bearing maker’s mark ‘H.W.Ld’; diameter 29mm.
