A COMPOSITE MUGHAL VELVET PANEL INDIA, LATE 17TH CENTURY Comprising two large pieces and a couple of much smaller sections of the same original border, the light blue ground with a red-outlined cartouche containing radiating flowerheads interlaced with tendrils issuing further flowerheads, a pale apricot border of meandering flowering vine at each side, very slight wear, mounted and stretched 18¼ x 16½in. (46.3 x 41.7cm.)
