A Convertible Platinum, Gold, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond and Seed Pearl Brooch/Bracelet, Raymond Yard, consisting of an openwork floral motif brooch finished with millegrain accents and containing one cushion shape cabochon cut sapphire measuring approximately 10.10 x 6.80 x 5.18 mm, one oval mixed cut ruby measuring approximately 5.02 x 3.87 x 2.26 mm, eight round mixed cut sapphires measuring approximately 4.30-4.40 mm in diameter, and 12 calibre cut sapphires, together with three baguette cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.00 carats total, 13 French cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.65 carat total, and 167 old European and round single cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.33 carats total, together with a 17 strand seed pearl torsade bracelet strung from two fluted end caps, the bracelet attached at one side to an openwork white gold frame conforming to the brooch outline. Stamp: YARD. Accompanied by an American Gemological Laboratories sapphire identification and origin certificate number CS 68526, dated June 24, 2015, stating Mineral Type: Natural Corundum, Origin: Ceylon (Sri Lanka) for the cabochon, Yogo Gulch, Montana for the round mixed cuts, Enhancement: No gemological evidence of heat, Clarity Enhancement: None. 12.60 dwts. Estimate $ 8,000-12,000 The brooch is fully intact and all stones are present and securely set. The cluster of round mixed brilliant sapphires from Montana show scattered minor abrasions to table crown facet junctions under 10x magnification. The brooch portion measures approximately 1.95 x 1.35 inches. The bracelet measures approximately 7.00 inches in length (untwisted). The cabochon cut ceylon sapphire shows scattered superficial scratches and contacts at 10x magnification. The channel set step cut sapphires show scattered abrasions to teh table cown facet junctions and one stone with a moderate chip at 10x magnification. The oval ruby shows very minor abrasions to the table crown facet junctions at 10x magnfication. The diamonds throughout show no obvious wear under 10x magnification. The pearl torsade show no obvious wear. The stringing appears intact. The polished metal surfaces show scattered superficial scratches.
