A Convertible Platinum, White Gold, Seed Pearl, Sapphire and Diamond Brooch/Bracelet, Raymond Yard, consisting of a platinum bow motif brooch/clasp with scrollwork accents, containing 14 round and oval cabochon cut sapphires weighing approximately 30.00 carats total, and 43 old European and round single cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.66 carats total, the brooch/clasp accompanied by an 18 strand seed pearl torsade bracelet strung with two fluted end caps, the bracelet attached at one side to a partial frame conforming to the underside of the brooch. Brooch/clasp stamp: YARD. Accompanied by an American Gemological Laboratories sapphire identification and origin certificate number CS 68527, dated July 2, 2015, stating Mineral Type: Natural Corundum, Variety: Sapphire, Origin: Burma (Myanmar), Enhancement: None, Clarity Enhancement: None. Estimate $ 7,000-9,000 It is the opinion of the gemologist that the cabochon cut sapphire in this brooch has internal characteristics consistent with those observed in natural sapphire that has not been color or clarity enhanced with heat treatment. It is the opinion of the gemologist that the cabochon cut sapphire in this brooch should be certified with the American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) for an identification, enhancement and origin report. The brooch portion measures approximately 1.75 x 1.50 inches.
