A Derby two-handled bough pot and pierced cover of D-section, painted in the manner of George Robertson with the 'Tomb of Cicero, Italy', titled in blue script to the base, the oval panel on a richly gilt ground reserved with flowers, between step sections with orange and gilt bands, painted blue mark, painted 6 to base and 8 to cover, circa 1800 (four of the tongues to the interior chipped, some rubbing to gilding) See illustration
