A DUTCH DELFT (DE GRIEKSCHE A) BLUE AND WHITE EWER, TWO DUTCH DELFT BOWLS AND A SAUCER-DISH THE EWER 1678-1686, SVE MONOGRAM FOR SAMUEL VAN EENHOORN THE OTHERS CIRCA 1680-85 Comprising: A fluted octagonal ewer painted with panels of precious objects, flowering plants and birds below panels of stylised objects and lappets (slight chipping and glaze flaking to rims and terminal of handle) A bowl, the centre painted with a vase of precious objects and flowers before a fence within a border of panels of precious objects and fruit within ogival cartouches (the base pierced, chipping and glaze flaking to rim) A smaller bowl, the centre with a masked bowl of fruit and flowers within panels of fruit, leaves and lappets (cracked, chip to outside, chips and glaze flaking to rim) A saucer-dish, the centre with a lion within a panelled border of stylised foliage (chip to rim and minor chips and glaze flaking to rim) The ewer 5¾ in. (14.6 cm.) high, the bowls 8¼ in. (21 cm.), and 6 1/8 (15.6 cm.) diam., the saucer-dish 6 3/8 (16.2 cm.) diam. (4)
