Ca 1750, England/Netherlands A very fine wine glass with a wheel engraved crowned Royal coat of arms for Stadtholder Willem IV, surrounded by seven smaller arms for the united provinces. The engraving of exceptional quality and attributed to Jacob Sang on the basis of comparable signed examples. D 8,7 cm, H 19,5 cm Provenance: Property of the Dutch noble family Quarles van Ufford and sold at Bonhams London, 14-11-2018, lot 54.
