The cavetto is decorated with four quatrefoil cartouches enclosing landscapes, all reserved on a deep pink sgrafiatto ground and interspersed with lotus scrolls. The wide rim is enamelled with clouds and descending bats, and the exterior has five further iron-red descending bats. 14½ in. (37 cm.) diam.
