A fine openwork Tombak mace, Ottoman provinces, probably Hungary, circa 1700 the eight-winged head with faceted base decorated with an openwork design of teardrops and stars surmounted by a finial in the form of an acorn clasped within a palmette mount, the silk-covered wooden haft embellished with tassles and compact springs 67cm.
