A finely carved spinach jade archaistic censer and cover Qing dynasty, Qianlong Period of compressed globular form, supported on three animal mask legs, the sides finely carved in low relief with two large archaistic taotie masks divided by vertical flanges, further divided by phoenix loop handles with loose rings, and smaller taotie mask carvings, the domed cover similarly carved and surmounted by a curled dragon final, the stone of dark green tone with lighter veining and black flecks Quantity: 2 across the handles, 20.5cm., 8 1/16 in.
