A FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON A TWO HANDLED SILVER PLATED TRAY, lacking a cream jug, the service maker's mark of Bailey, Banks & Biddle, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, waisted necked coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, and waste bowl, each compressed circular, engraved with monogram, the indented corners each issuing chased lush foliate spray, and issuing below four foliate headed scroll supports, with foliate scroll applied wavy everted broad rim, the pots with part foliate auricular handle and scroll spout, the hinged, conformingly decorated, low domed cover topped by foliate baluster finial, the kettle on raised circular stand-- tea kettle on stand over swing handle 13in. (33cm.) , the monogrammed, rounded rectangular tray, on four acanthus supports, the ground engraved with broad arabesque frieze, with molded border, with applied foliate, berry, floral and rocaille rim, with two elaborate loop handles-- length over handles 31in. (78.7cm.), gross weight of silver 160oz. (6)
