A GEORGE II BRASS-MOUNTED EBONISED STRIKING TABLE CLOCK WITH PULL QUARTER REPEAT THOMAS MOORE IPSWICH, MID-18TH CENTURY The inverted bell top case with glazed side panels and fretwork to the arch, the pierced and engraved brass dial with Roman silvered chapter ring, Arabic five minute marks and blued-steel hands, with date aperture, dummy pendulum and strike/silent to arch, signed Thomas Moore/IPSWICH , the two train gut fusee movement with pull quarter repeat on six bells, striking on a larger bell, later half dead-beat escapement; with pendulum and case key 18 ¼ in. (46.4 cm.) high; 10 7/8 in. (27.6 cm.) wide; 7 in. (17.8 cm.) deep
