Circa 1805 BOX: two-tier with brass corner mounts and drop-down handles, the interior lined in green baize, with brass securing straps securing a deep two-tier cylindrical brass bowl within a flat rim brass bezel; box altered DIAL: brass bezel and convex glass to silvered and engraved dial signed Thomas Earnshaw/INV.T ET FECIT/NO.719 , subsidiary seconds ring, replaced blued steel hands MOVEMENT: with four pillars (one pinned, one screwed) and signed on the top plate Thos.Earnshaw/Inv.t et Fecit No.719/LONDON/NO.3190 , chain and fusee with maintaining power; key ESCAPEMENT: Earnshaw-type with flat strip steel spring detent, cut bimetallic balance balance with segmental heat compensation weights and blued steel helical balance spring 204 mm. square box, 77 mm. diameter dial
