A GEORGE III SCOTTISH SILVER CREAM JUG, A CANADIAN CREAM JUG, A CANADIAN SILVER GILT CHALICE AND PATEN, AND FOUR FRENCH WINE TASTERS the helmet shaped cream jug-- Aberdeen, maker's mark of John Leslie circa 1780 , the front engraved with later initials, on square pedestal base, upswept reeded handle, with beaded rim-- the base filled with lead, 5¾in. (14.6cm.) high , the second cream jug -- maker's mark J S & S, 19th Century , baluster, on four foliate scroll feet, the body chased with flowering foliage, diaperwork and scroll, two vacant cartouches, the neck flat chased with scalework and foliage, multi scroll handle-- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high , the chalice and paten in fitted case-- the chalice 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high , the four variously decorated wine tasters with ring handle-- 3½in. (8.8cm.) diam. , together with a silver wax jack-- bearing spurious marks for London, 1802--Scottish cream jug not weighed, 52oz. (8)
