A George III Scottish silver small quaich, maker's mark 'RG' (perhaps Robert Gray of Glasgow), with waisted handles and a collet foot, engraved with a cypher and a heraldic badge, 9.5cm (3.75in) wide, 34g (1 oz) No town or date mark, the duty mark used from 1797 to 1822, the maker's mark used until circa 1810 The heraldic badge on this quaich is a late 1940's device of the Duke of Edinburgh
