A George IV covered soup tureen, the compressed circular body with gadrooned rim, the handles cast with shells and foliage, on shell and hairy paw feet (one slightly pushed in), the rising dome cover with gadrooned border and cast leaf capped rocaille handle, engraved twice with a coat of arms,* by Benjamin Smith III, 1821 , 28.5cm. diam., 134oz.
