A GEORGE VI FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON A TWO HANDLED SILVER PLATED TRAY, London, 1941, maker's mark N & B over Sn. in trefoil, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee pot, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each baluster on four foliate scroll feet with openwork apron between, chased with broad frieze of matted foliate, flowers, and stylized foliage, centering two sides vacant cartouche, the pots with grotesque mask and eagle's head scroll spout, partly reeded and foliate handle, the hinged molded low domed cover topped by alighting eagle finial-- tea kettle on twice chained circular stand over swing handle--18½in. (46.9cm.) high , the rounded rectangular tray on four foliate feet, ground engraved with bold flowers on matted ground, with applied gadrooned and shell cornered rim-- length of tray over gadrooned loop handles 29in. (73.6cm.), gross weight of silver 185.5oz. (6)
