A GERMAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER TANKARD MARK OF FRIEDRICH I SCHWESTERMÜLLER, AUGSBURG, 1675-1680 Cylindrical, the spreading base repoussé chased with silver flowers on gilt ground, the body cast and chased with classical figures in a landscape, with a scroll handle, the hinged cover repoussé chased with flowers, the ball finial engraved twice with the arms of Portugal, marked on foot, near rim and at edge of cover 9 in. (22.8 cm.) high 38 oz. (1,183 gr.)
