A GERMAN SILVER SOUP-TUREEN AND COVER MARK OF JOHANN JAKOB BRUGLOCHER, AUGSBURG, 1737-39 Tapering fluted oval, with two scroll handles, later engraved with initials 'FF' below a Royal crown, marked under foot and on cover bezel, the cover bezel further engraved with a number and scratchweight 'No. 4 16=4=3' 14½ in. (37 cm.) wide 91 oz. (2,816 gr.) The initial is that of Friedrich Franz I, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1756-1837).
